Derbyshire Health United (DHU) only provides healthcare
services – our areas of expertise are primary health care out of hours, call handling
and triage, offender health care to support police forces and prisons and other
services listed in the menu.
We restrict our operations to the East Midlands area and we are very careful about
the types of new business we pursue – we do not pursue additional work purely for
financial gain or benefit. We concentrate on meeting all requests made by our current
commissioners, but we also make a point of considering all opportunities that may
come from the counties that surround our current area of operation.
Providing the highest quality of clinical services is of the utmost importance at
DHU. DHU has rightfully gained experience of and a reputation for working in partnership
with other service providers. We have significant experience in working with Primary
Care Trusts, GP commissioners, social services, emergency planning teams, the Police,
prisons, acute foundation and mental health foundation trusts. We are active members
of planning groups such as the local Urgent Care Networks, Derbyshire Flu Executive
and others.
