Urgent Care Centres

Access to both Urgent Care Centres is via the following routes:-

Patients may choose to access the service directly by presenting at the Urgent Care Centre (i.e. the patient can ‘Walk in’). If this occurs the patient will be triaged by staff at the centre and receive treatment as appropriate to their need, in accordance with National Quality Standards. However, as opposed to the other bases we operate within the Out of Hours service, the services provided at both Urgent Care Centres are commissioned as ‘Walk-in’ facilities and this method of access is advertised to patients.
